Sonography
An ultrasound/Sonography scan uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. It is suitable for use during pregnancy. Ultrasound scans, or sonography, are safe because they use sound waves or echoes to make an image, instead of radiation.

How to prepare for your Sonography:
Preparation :
- For the upper abdomen, at least 2-3 hours fasting is necessary.
- For the female pelvis, a full-bladder is required.
- For small parts (thyroid, scrotum, breast, joints and bone), no preparation is necessary.
Note:Time taken in Actual Study approx 10-15 minutes
